Art is an important outlet and creative thinking pathway for students and is one the first classes to be cut in schools in budgeting crises. I continue to support their efforts because art was an important to my mental health as a teenager and opportunities to explore creativity should be available to all youth. Creative York’s outreach program brings art to my local community via creative activities and events.
Creative York’s Annual Fall Fundraiser
First held in 1997, Art in Residence is our longest-running and most popular fundraiser. Every fall, friends of Creative York gather for this one-night-only event featuring rare artwork from personal collections, food and drinks, fine art for purchase, and so much more!
This year, Art in Residence will be held on Thursday, September 25th, from 6-9pm at Investment Real Estate LLC located at 320 N. George Street, York PA 17401.
All proceeds raised during Art in Residence support our outreach programs, including free art education opportunities, creative activities for community members, student gallery tours and more.
